_Raku Mask_red eye
This piece was inspired and created at my brother Milton's pottery in La Chaux de Fonds Switzerland during the summer of 2005. I always feel a great inspiration when I am working with my brother!
This piece stands approx. 9 inches long and was created from a slab of a good robust raku clay. The white crackle glaze was created by my brother and I and worked beautifully. Sawdust was used to reduce the exposed clay to a nice charcoal black and penetration into the glaze crackle is excellent!
