These pendant Raku pieces are approx. 1-3/4 inches in length.
They were inspired by Joseph Cambell's "Masks of Eternity". The
white and colored crackle glazes worked beautifully on the porcelain that
was used to create them. Sawdust was used to reduce the exposed clay to a
nice charcoal black and penetration into the glaze crackle is excellent!
These pieces were inspired and created at my brother Milton's
pottery in La Chaux de Fonds Switzerland during the summer of 2005.
I always feel a great inspiration when I am working with my brother!
